We believe in the power of helping others to strengthen our neighborhoods and communities. By assisting with various tasks, big or small, you can truly make a difference in the lives of those in need. Embrace the opportunity to connect with your community and contribute to a better world through our holistic approach to giving back." We offer a unique community service program that acts the glue to bring our neighborhoods/communities together. Partnering with us allows you to connect with your own neighborhood to create a positive impact through change and development to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. Structure Community service is often more informal with little supervision, with participants following guidelines and reporting to a staff member. Volunteering is often more relaxed, with individuals paired alongside personnel, working independently, or in loose teams. Motivation Our volunteers are not offered payment we consider the experience to be motivated by a desire to help others or a cause. Community service can be performed for various reasons, random-acts-of-kindness, to fulfill a requirement, such as for a school/ministry project or a legal mandate. Impact Volunteering can demonstrate a commitment to a cause and can help persons develop skills and gain experiences. Community service can demonstrate a willingness to participate in acts of service within a neighborhood and/or community projects. Both volunteering and community service are considered valuable extracurricular activities that demonstrate good citizenship. Our focus should be more interested in the quality and impact of the service than whether it's volunteering or community service. Community service can teach you a variety of skills, including: Social skills: Working with people from different backgrounds and expertise can help you develop social skills. Physical skills: Working with your hands can improve physical skills. Transferable skills: You can develop skills like interpersonal communication, time management, leadership, delegation, and problem-solving. Empathy: You can develop empathy for others. Leadership skills: You can develop leadership skills. Real-world application: You can realize how what you're learning in school applies to the real world. Tolerance: You can learn to accept other cultures, nationalities, and back
